Executive Board Elections
An Executive Board volunteer position is available. It’s a great way to get involved in our club community and provide feedback and direction. Board members serve a two year term and meet at 7 pm on the second Tuesday of each month for approximately 2 hours. The election for the Board member will take place at the Annual Meeting on November 9, 2016 at 7 pm.
All interested members need to contact the office and submit a short biography prior to the election. All candidates must have attended the September board meeting or be present at the next board meeting on October 11, 2016 at 7 pm to learn more about the process. At the meeting you will get to see first-hand if this is a volunteer opportunity that suits you.
Annual General Board Meeting Reminder
The General Board Meeting for 2016 will be held on November 9, 2016 at 7 pm in the clubhouse. Find out how the board operates, how we are doing financially and what is in store for the club. Get involved and vote for open seats available on the Executive Board.
Pool Closure
The pool will be closed every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:00 am – 10:00 am for pool cleaning.

Fall Tennis Academy

The tennis academy offers group lessons for students of all ages and abilities. Drop ins are always available. Sign-ups and schedules are available in the Cabana Club office and online.

SCAC Practice Schedule
Surf City Aquatics Club practice has begun and will continue through March 24, 2017. Practice times are:
- Monday-Friday 4:00 pm – 6:30 pm
Please remember to pull forward to a designated parking space when dropping your children off for swim practice. DO NOT stop in the entrance.
During swim practice, the coaches will reserve a lane for open swim if requested.
No Lifeguards on Duty
Lifeguard season is coming to an end 🙁 There will be no lifeguards on duty beginning in October. If you are planning a deck party and need a lifeguard, please contact the Cabana Club office and we will provide one for your party.
Billing information
As a reminder, the Cabana Club does not bill members automatically for dues and assessments. Each member is responsible for paying in a timely manner. Payment of dues and assessments is a condition of club membership. Thank you for your prompt payments.
All members with Automatic Payment authorizations on file are asked to contact the Cabana Club office to update credit card information if, and when, cards are replaced. Current information will ensure successful processing of membership dues without interruption. Someone is in the office every day to update credit card information.
Lost and Found
Please check the lost and found area (across from the restrooms) for forgotten items. We will be donating any remaining items by October 10, 2016.
Reminders:
- No smoking on club grounds.
- Please clean up your area after each use.
- Sign-in all guests and complete all clubhouse and outdoor party request applications with office staff for review. All requests must be approved prior to the event date.
- Parents are responsible for the conduct of their children and for closely monitoring their behavior.
- Drink responsibly, no glass containers allowed. Plastic cups are available in the kitchen.
