Annual Holiday Ugly Sweater Party

The Pacific Sands Cabana Club invites all member families to attend our 2018 Holiday Party on Saturday, December 8, 5:00-9:00 pm. Wear your ugliest holiday sweater and join in the fun!

The club will be providing food, dessert, beer, wine, and drinks for kids. There will be crafts and cookies to decorate. Enjoy a visit and photo with Santa too!! This is a members only event.

In the spirit of giving we are asking members to help us collect product and gift card donations for Robyne’s Nest, a Huntington Beach local Non-Profit Charity whose mission "is to ensure identified at-risk and homeless students in HBUHSD get the academic, life and financial support they need to complete high school and look to college, trade school or military."

Please help us fill holiday gift boxes by bringing a donated item to the club holiday party. Product donations of food, school supplies, personal items/toiletries, bus passes and gift cards are appreciated.

Visit their website at https://www.robynesnest.org/product-donations/ for the list of needed items.

Our youth members are invited to help during the party by packing and decorating boxes with donations and creating holiday cards. The club will also provide boxes, wrapping paper, and cards.

The club thanks you in advance for your thoughtful consideration and donation to our area’s youth.

Judi Hall

Judi and Troy Hall have been long time members of the Cabana Club and Penguins Swim Team (Lincoln and Cash Hall). In addition to her 3 years of PTA Leadership, she also volunteers for the Seaview Little League, AYSO, and spends countless hours devoting her time to community services. Judi's knowledge of the Pacific Sands Swim Team and the friendships she has forged with many of the Cabana Club Members qualify her for the open Board Member Position. She looks forward to serving the many needs of the Cabana Club.

Kelly Morrison

Kelly Morrison’s been loving HB for the past 15 years! She met her husband, Dustin (born in the HB hospital), while attending BYU-Hawaii, a college way more magical than Disneyland. They have four kids together—3 of whom splash their hardest on the Penguins swim team!

Kelly grew up in Oklahoma, earned her Bachelor’s degree from Utah Valley University, then went on to earn a teaching credential from CSUF. Though still paying off student loans, she has never actually used said degrees to earn actual, real money. Instead, she fills every second of every day being a stay-at-home mom, which is highly fulfilling...and also exhausting. Which is why, as a board member, she will push for a Cabana Club hot tub, hard.

If elected to the board, she will work hard, be positive, and help the Cabana Club stay awesome!

Annual Members Meeting

The Annual Member’s Meeting for 2018 will be held on November 13 at 7:00 pm in the clubhouse. Club fiscal year goals, financials and property enhancements will be reviewed.

Get involved and vote for open seats available on the Executive Board. The Board of Director’s election results will also be announced during the meeting.

Billing information

As a reminder, the Cabana Club does not bill members automatically for dues and assessments. Each member is responsible for paying in a timely manner. Payment of dues and assessments is a condition of club membership. They are due on the first of the month. Thank you for your prompt payments.

All members with Automatic Payment authorizations on file are asked to contact the Cabana Club office to update credit card information if, and when, cards are replaced. Current information will ensure successful processing of membership dues without interruption. Someone is in the office every day to update credit card information.
