COVID-19 Update

Pacific Sands Cabana Club/Covid19 Operations

Effective Monday, May 11, 2020
Hello Cabana Families

We hope this message finds you all safe & healthy... . we have some good news! Starting Monday, May 11th we will begin offering use of the club for Tennis & Lap Swim only.

This may not be the news you all wanted to hear but it's a step in the right direction, we are all so eager to get back out to our fun weekend's pool side, but we'll all have to be a bit more patient. We cannot consider "social/free use" of the pool until Gov. Newsom moves closer to Phase 3. We will continue to watch this situation as it evolves, especially these next 2 weeks, and make necessary adjustments weekly/daily if necessary. In the meantime, we intend to do everything we can to keep the monthly dues at the reduced price until we all have full access of the facility.

Our main priority is to keep everyone healthy and safe! For the time being, access to the property will be limited to office hours; Monday-Sunday 9am-5pm to ensure proper sanitation and social distancing regulations are followed. Gate access will be admitted through front office only. Every member on the property must sign a release form or access will not be granted. To help reduce the risk of contamination we have reduced the number of touch points throughout the property.

The following amenities on PSCC property are unavailable until further notice:

  • Clubhouse
  • Restrooms/Changing Areas
  • Showers
  • Ice Machine
  • Drinking Fountain
  • Play Structure
  • All Tables, Chairs & Lounge Chairs

We are asking for all members to please adhere to these restrictions, we know it's frustrating. This is a constantly changing situation, we are watching closely and constantly in contact with the city. We will loosen up restrictions as soon as possible. Please be patient. We are working with limited staff to keep costs (and dues) to a minimum. And, please be extra polite to our surrounding neighbors, we do not need anything working against us right now.

PLEASE Stay home if you:

  • Are exhibiting any symptoms of the coronavirus: mild to severe respiratory illness with fever, cough and difficulty breathing, or other symptoms identified by the CDC.
  • Have been in contact with someone with COVID-19 in the last 14 days.
