The not so serious race consisted of:
- 1 mile run (beer stop)
- 2 mile bike ride (beer stop)
- 10 laps in the pool
We had 23 members sign up for this fun event.
The winners were:
Womens Division
1st Place – Soo Langon at 29:24
2nd place – Sarah Van Peteghen.
Mens Division
1st Place – Mark Urkov at 18:24
2nd place – Ed Rands
3rd place – Paul Kelly
4th place – Steve Schulz.

This free event raised just over $300 in donations for the summer swim team.
Paul Kelly wants to give a special thanks to Nicole Privett for driving his weary body home.
One of the participants told me when they were in the bicycle run they encountered a few members returning back. The person in the lead was really pumping his bike for speed, because there were 3 bicycles on his tail. They were trying to catch up to his pace. It was a Kodak moment with no camera.
