Cabana Club Lifeguards

Pacific Sands Cabana Club is accepting applications for part-time Lifeguards.
Lifeguard applicants must hold the following certifications by the first day of work:

  • Lifeguard Certification
  • CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers
  • First Aid
  • Work Permit (for students under 18)

Applicants must be 15 1/2 years of age by March 31, 2026, and MUST be able to work most weekends and holidays starting in March through September 2026. Part-time weekday/evening hours will also be available after elementary, middle, and high schools close for summer break.

Club Reminders:

CLUB MEMBERS, please remember that the facility’s operating hours are from 8:00am-10:00pm, 7 days a week.

GUESTS: Club Members, please stop by the office and check in your guest before entering the club. Remember, Guest fees are $5 Mon-Thurs. and $8 Fri-Sun & holidays. There will be an additional fee for Club-sponsored events. Remember, any visitor who comes through the gate and stays is considered a guest and must pay the guest fee. No guests are permitted without a member present, and as always, you are liable for your guests even after the office closes. Thank You!

All members are responsible for cleaning their area after use. No glass, including reusable glass water bottles, is allowed on our pool deck.

If you are planning a deck party or gathering for 10 or more people, please check with the office to confirm the date and time you have in mind. Then, you can fill out a deck party request form and be added to our calendar. We kindly request that you submit your plans in advance so that the office can plan our staff accordingly.

Friendly Reminder: Please do not move umbrellas or remove them from their bases. You can move tables to adjust for shade.

We are still reserving lap swimming lanes from 9:00am-3:00pm.Out of courtesy to swimmers with reservations, please check the posted schedule before entering a lap lane without one. Additionally, please advise your children not to play in or cross the lap lanes when entering or exiting the pool, as this is dangerous for them and the lap swimmers.

Supervision of children reminder: Parents, please review pool, deck, and diving board rules with your children and guests. Rules are posted behind the diving board and on our website. Children under 14 are not allowed at the club without an adult present. (It’s a State Law). Children aged 14 and older who are unaccompanied by an adult are expected to follow all Club and pool rules.

Children wearing floaties always need an adult to monitor them poolside.

Children who are not fully potty-trained must wear a disposable swim diaper with a reusable swim diaper over it. (Members will be fined if their child has an accident without them.)

MEMBERSHIP DUES/LATE FEES:

Membership dues are due on the 1st of every month and are considered LATE after the 15th. A $25.00 late fee will be applied to an account that is not paid by the 15th.

A service fee is added to all credit card transactions.

Tennis News:

Tennis Court Reservations

For reservations, you may email the club office at manager@cabanaclubhb.org on Mondays after 10:00am from Tuesday through the following Monday. Currently, email pre-booking is limited to one court per week per group. You can book an additional court by calling office at 714-536-8091 up to two days in advance. The schedule for the current week is posted on the office window.

Tennis Lessons

Private, semi-private and group lessons are available for all ages. Contact one of our pros for classes and lesson times.
